  Lovely oasis of calm in Salford. Spent a lovely afternoon walking by canal and children loved the playground. Obviously lots of work going on to increase planting - will visit again later in the summer. Visited Salford Museum and Art Gallery to take kids to Lark Hill Place which they really enjoyed and then couple of hours letting off steam.

  Beautiful wide open green space next to the River Irwell which a great place to bird watch with a lovely walk over to Salford Meadows. Also newly renovated play area for the kids then pop into the adjoining Salford Museum cafe for refreshments and a wander if the weather takes a turn for the worst.
